We are pleased to announce the new management structure of Planet Flowline Limited.

The company originally established in 1987, became part of the Planet Group of companies in late December 2014, and is now based in its modern offices in Peterborough.

Steve Monk will be the main point of contact for Planet Flowline.  He has a wealth of process and packaging knowledge and is backed up by the engineering and technical expertise of the Planet Group, which also incorporates Planet Dryers Limited.  Our design department has the latest 3D modelling software, and can assist with factory layout drawings and machinery integration.

Planet Flowline will continue to represent several European specialist companies, all experts in their particular fields and all complementing each other.  This enables Planet Flowline to offer either individual machines or full turnkey processing lines, to be supplied, installed and maintained within the British Isles.

All previous machines supplied via Planet Flowline will continue to be supported, with spare parts and service visits organised through us as usual.

Zecchetti srl is a privately owned corporation (LLC), founded in 1960. The firm currently has 110 employees organized in the activities of sales, product design, machine assembly, testing, installation, and post-sales service for all the company’s product lines.
Leader in the Packaging Sector for the production of palletizers, depalletizers and conveying systems, Zecchetti is now present in the Warehouse Logistic Sector as well.
Zecchetti, based in Montecchio Emilia (RE), a town located in the North of Italy, counts with an Headquarter Facility (11.000 sq.mt. approx) plus a second operative facility (8.000 sq.mt. approx).

In 1960 the Zecchetti family started building equipment for can manufacturing. Starting with only 5 employees Zecchetti began a long history of innovation and growth. During the 60’s and 70’s as their product range expanded the Company grew to 20 employees. In their development Zecchetti supplied a variety of packaging systems to the packaging industry in general, with no particular area of focus.
However, in the early 80’s the first PVC containers appeared followed by PET containers. Zecchetti recognized the challenge these new containers represented to the packaging industry and focused their experience to face empty bottle conveying and palletizing problems head on. Zecchetti began this effort with annual sales of around 3 Million Euro. Thanks to their focused effort and foresight, 10 years later Zecchetti was recognised (and still is) as the 1st manufacturer/supplier of equipment for the empty PET bottle handling in the world. Over this ten-year period annual sales grew to approximately 6.5 Million Euros
