Flavour Drum

The Planet Flavour Coating Drum is manufactured from stainless steel with bent baffles requiring minimum seam welds for hygiene and ease of cleaning.

The retention time is controlled by adjusting the angle of the Drum to suit the required levels of coating and required throughputs, to ensure a full and even coating.

The unit is mounted on castors for manoeuvrability with screw jacks for stability during use.

Coating System

A flavour coating system is available consisting of two spherical mixing tanks, each equipped with its own mixer.

Water jackets and electrical immersion heaters ensure the flavours are kept at the correct temperature for coating.

A variable speed peristaltic pump meters the flavour to the nozzles where the flavour is atomised.
